Representative Monica Robb-Blasdel of Columbiana has been appointed to the board of the OneOhio Recovery Foundation. The appointment was made by Speaker of the House Matt Huffman of Lima. The board includes 29 members, with 19 selected by groups that partner with the Foundation to identify fund recipients.

Blasdel expressed her gratitude, stating, "It is a great honor to be appointed to the Governing Board of the OneOhio Recovery Foundation, and I am grateful to Speaker Huffman for this responsibility." She emphasized the importance of addressing the opioid epidemic, saying, "The opioid epidemic has scarred Ohio’s communities for decades and I am eager to get to work, ensuring community-based organizations have the necessary resources to combat this crisis through prevention, treatment, and recovery efforts."

The OneOhio Recovery Foundation, a nonprofit organization established by the State of Ohio and local leaders, is responsible for distributing 55 percent of settlement funds from the pharmaceutical industry. These funds are intended for substance misuse prevention, treatment, and recovery initiatives in Ohio.
