State Rep. Monica Robb Blasdel | The Ohio House of Representatives
State Representative Monica Blasdel of Columbiana has announced her new committee assignments for the 136th General Assembly. She has been appointed by Ohio House Speaker Matt Huffman as Vice Chair of the House Natural Resources Committee.
In addition to her role in the Natural Resources Committee, Blasdel will serve on three other committees: Energy, Transportation, and Arts, Athletics & Tourism.
Blasdel expressed enthusiasm about her new roles. "I’m excited to help lead the Natural Resources Committee and guide important conversations alongside Chair Don Jones, and to serve on three other important committees," she stated. She also emphasized her commitment to working on legislation related to affordable energy, the transportation budget, and promoting Ohio's cultural and tourism opportunities.
