State Rep. Monica Robb Blasdel (R-Columbiana) convened with community leaders from Carroll and Columbiana counties last Friday at her quarterly Mayor’s Meeting, held at the Leetonia Community Public Library.

The meeting brought together mayors, city managers, and village administrators for an open discussion aimed at fostering collaboration and sharing resources. "This is a great opportunity to connect with other leaders in the surrounding areas to lean on each other for resources, support, and best practices as we work together to make our communities a better place to live, work, and raise a family," said Blasdel.

Additionally, representatives from the newly established JobsOhio Lake to River Region attended the meeting to provide an overview of their services. This new four-county region—comprising Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull counties—was announced in April by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and JobsOhio.
