Message from Mayor Kevin Siembida:

Walnut Street was poured and put down in 1929. It has served The Village of Leetonia for many years. Now the road is worn, broken, and rough for some time now.  I am pleased to announce that Village council authorized me to begin the replacement of this road.

We are looking to begin this process in late spring. I ask for your patience as this will be disruptive to your travels while we are under construction.  Due to the road being concrete and not asphalt, the process is significantly more labor intensive which requires more time to tear out and replace.

To minimize the impact to the residents and businesses, we will be doing this in sections. We will be posting notices before we begin and working with the families that live on the street to ensure they can continue to have access.
