Of the 252 citizens living in Palestine in 2020, 198 were old enough to vote as of March 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 109 of those people were female and 89 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
