Cost of college went up for all students at Ohio Valley College of Technology

Tuition and fees rose 1.9 percent for 2018-19 at Ohio Valley College of Technology, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Ohio students paid $12,969 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $240 more than the $12,729 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 40 students received grants or scholarships totaling $252,873 and 40 students took out student loans totaling more than $221,747.

Including all undergraduates (201), 149 students used grants or scholarships totaling $983,453, and 150 students took out $907,936 in federal student loans.
