The East Liverpool City Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. everyday until completion starting Monday, October 24, 2022. This should take no longer than 3 weeks.
Flushing will begin in areas as follows lasting approximately 1 to 3 days per area: East End, Downtown, West End, Northside, Outer St. Clair, Beachwood, Dixonville, Pleasant Heights (LaCroft)
Although customers may experience a discoloration in their water and/or low pressure due to the flushing of hydrants, this is only temporary and the water is safe to use without boiling.
