Village of Leetonia issued the following announcement on Jan 11.
There is a Main Water Line break on State Street ( State Route 344) just West of Water Street. There is icy condition on the roadway in this area.
We will be digging and repairing the main water line break today (01-11-2022) starting around 7:30 am.
Please try to avoid this area, or expect delays in your travel due to the one lane work zone or possible detour if need be.
The workers have been out all night monitoring the leak and addressing the icing conditions on the roadway due to the leak and tempature conditions (12 degrees).
This break and water shut down will only affect approximately 5 customer during the repair work time frame.
Please drive slow in this area of the work zone for the safety of all the workers and general public.
