On Friday, March 28, former Austintown-Fitch High School standout Sydnie Watts’ current college team, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, lost 7-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Oklahoma State Cowgirls.

The game took place at Shirley Clements Mewborn Field. This was their second matchup against the Cowgirls this season.

The Jackets’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at Shirley Clements Mewborn Field against Syracuse Orange.
