State Rep. Monica Robb Blasdel | The Ohio House of Representatives
State Rep. Monica Robb Blasdel (R-Columbiana) has been appointed as the new Chair of the Pensions Committee for the Ohio House of Representatives by Speaker Jason Stephens.
“Representative Blasdel’s dedication to the people of her district and the General Assembly hasn’t gone unnoticed,” said Stephens. “In just her first term, she’s already stood out as a leader, and that’s why I am happy to recognize her diligence and appoint her as chair of the House Pensions Committee.”
Rep. Blasdel will lead the 15-person committee alongside Vice-Chair Angie King (R-Celina).
“It’s essential that we support Ohioans, not just throughout their careers, but into a secure and reliable retirement,” said Blasdel. “I’m so excited to step into this leadership role and continue to serve the hardworking people across our great State.”
Rep. Blasdel is also Vice Chair of the Public Utilities Committee. Additionally, she serves on the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, Families and Aging Committee, Finance Committee, and Finance Subcommittee on Transportation.
