On Friday, February 16, former Mercer Area Senior High School standout Taylor Truran’s current college team, the Youngstown State Penguins, won 4-1 in their NCAA Division I game against the Valparaiso Beacons.

The game took place in Clinton, South Carolina. This was their first matchup against the Valparaiso Beacons this season.

The Penguins’ next game is scheduled for Friday, February 16 at 6:30 p.m. in Clinton, South Carolina against Presbyterian Blue Hose.
