On Wednesday, January 3, former St. Joseph Catholic High School standouts Dena Jarrells and Paige Shy’s current college team, the Youngstown State Penguins, won 70-63 in their NCAA D1 game against the Oakland Golden Grizzlies.

The game took place in Youngstown, Ohio. This was the first matchup against the Oakland Golden Grizzlies this season.

The Youngstown State Penguins’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, January 6 at 1 p.m. in Cleveland, Ohio.
