I wanted to update you on a few items:

First, East Palestine City School District will be closed for the remainder of this week through Friday, February 10th. 

I would like to reiterate that the implementation of our Blizzard Bag protocols is to make sure that as a district we meet our legislatively required minimum hours. I want to assure you that any student who does not have the resources or ability (regardless of the reason) to work on these will NOT be penalized. 

Please monitor district social media platforms and website to receive additional information throughout the course of the next few days

And Finally, I want to thank everyone for their patience and support as we navigate through this emergency. The support for our families, community, and first responders is critical.
