Haley Buckley is the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center’s October Student of the Month!
Haley is a half-day senior from United Local High School and is enrolled in the Veterinary Science Technology (VST) Program under the instruction of Mrs. Jamie Stacy. Haley is a member of the FFA Chapter at the CCCTC and a member of the marching band at her home school. Haley has earned OSHA and CPR/First Aid Certifications along with her Veterinary Medical Applications Credential. Haley also holds down a job working at a G’s Pizza World. Haley’s future plans are to attend West Virginia University and major in business while minoring in finance. Haley stated “The CCCTC was a good choice for me because it allowed me to get more ideas on how I can shape my future, and it introduced me to my favorite group of people.”
Haley was nominated by Mrs. Jamie Stacy, stating “I chose Haley because she exemplifies what an ideal student should be. She works very hard each day and strives to always do her best in all that she does. She is one of the first to jump in to volunteer to do things that occur after school and on the weekends such as open houses at the school. She works well with everyone she comes in contact with. Her caring and compassion are seen with both classmates and animals. She sets goals and works to complete them. She has the great qualities of all the A's of Bring your A game!”
Haley is the daughter of Susan Kooser and Adam Buckley.
Congratulations to Haley Buckley, our CCCTC October Student of the Month!
