Calling all pie bakers! Plan to enter the Minerva Oktoberfest Pie-Baking Contest, Saturday, Oct. 1! Pies must be in by noon, and there are categories for Adults: Fruit, Nut, Pumpkin, and Special Diet; Teens; and Youths. The top three pies in each category receive ribbons, and the best overall pie receives a custom, hand-thrown pie plate made by Market Street Art Spot resident artist Laura Donnelly.
There is no charge to participate, and pies will be sold by the piece following judging.
