City of Struthers issued the following announcement on Apr 5.
April 18th is fast approaching! Time to file your City of Struthers tax return, if you haven't done so already!
If you're preparing your own tax return, please don't forget this important step: The City will give credit to taxes paid to other municipalities up to 2%.
Ex.
Gross Wages: $35,000
Local Tax Withheld $962.50 (Youngstown 2.75%)
Struthers Tax Credit $700.00 (Struthers 2%)
If you have someone else prepare your return, be sure to check their math. We've seen several returns prepared incorrectly by CPA's and tax preparers!
