County of Mahoning issued the following announcement on Mar 9.
Local pond and lake owners, we are selling fingerling size fish to stock your pond. We are offering Fathead Minnows, 8-12” White Amur, 6-8” Koi, 3-3” Largemouth Bass, 2-4” Bluegill, 2-4” Hybrid Bluegill, 4-5” Channel Catfish and 2-4” Shell Crackers. Deadline for ordering is Friday May 6th and pick up will be Thursday, May 12th from 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Canfield Fairgrounds.
On the day of pick up you will need to bring a container lined with a heavy duty unscented black trash bag filled with your own pond water that can then be tied at the top. Five to eight gallons of water per 100 fish is required. Please note only two White Amur to 5 gallons of water. We are also offering Fish Food, Pond Conditioner and Pond Maintenance books.
