Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Mar 16.
Mark your calendars now! The Roxy Theatre's Celtic show is back this year on Saturday, April 2, 7 p.m.! Because the Roxy is undergoing renovations, the show will be held at Minerva's Community Building this year. We are still finalizing plans, but performers will include Bealtaine from Pittsburgh, George Smith of the Carnegie Mellon Pipe Band on Great Highland Bagpipes, Amie Hill Fankhauser, Tom Freeland, Jim GraySmith, and others. We're keeping our fingers crossed that some Irish dancers and possibly a harpist will join us.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., admission is $10 per person, and Irish and Scottish treats will be available by donation.
