County of Mahoning issued the following announcement on Feb 4.
In communication with the National Weather Service (NWS) Cleveland, the decision has been made to close all Mahoning County offices and buildings (expect essential staff) Friday, February 4, 2022. This is in concurrence with Common Pleas Presiding Judge, the Honorable Judge Krichbaum; Mahoning Commissioners, Carol Rimedio–Righetti, David C. Ditzler, and Anthony T. Traficanti; Emergency Management Director, Andrew Frost; Mahoning County Engineer, Patrick Ginnetti; and Mahoning County Sheriff, Jerry Greene.
