Village of East Palestine recently issued the following announcement.
A snow and ice event has been predicted for the area and as a precaution, the Village of East Palestine has issued a snow emergency parking ban for all city streets effective Wednesday, February 02nd, 2022 at 1800hours (06:00pm) until Saturday, February 5th, 2022 at 1200 hours (12 noon). Further inclement weather or significant ice and/or snow accumulation may extend the parking ban.
A weather emergency parking ban means the Village has the power to tow cars parked on city streets if they impede the progress of snow clearing operations. Weather parking bans are issued for the purpose of the public’s safety and efficiency of snow clearing efforts on city streets.
