Cost of college went up for all students at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center

Tuition and fees rose 1 percent for 2018-19 at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Ohio students paid $9,975 to attend the public school this year – $58 more than the $9,917 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 9 students received grants or scholarships totaling $85,138 and 5 students took out student loans totaling more than $23,258.

Including all undergraduates (79), 67 students used grants or scholarships totaling $296,055, and 21 students took out $130,041 in federal student loans.
