On Sunday, April 6, former Canfield High School standout Ben Slanker’s current college team, the Ohio Bobcats, lost 17-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Northern Illinois Huskies.

The game took place at Ralph McKinzie Field at Walt and Janice Owens Park. This was their third matchup against the Huskies this season.

The Bobcats’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 6 p.m. at Bob Wren Stadium against Marshall Thundering Herd.
